Apex | SQL | Salesforce CRM | Marketing Cloud Implementation

 

Location: Manchester/Remote 

 

Salary: £765,000 - £70,000 Per Annum D.O.E


We are seeking a Salesforce Developer – Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to play a key role in building a new Salesforce marketing capability from the ground up, before continuing development across the wider Salesforce platform.

 

This is an opportunity to join at the start of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and help design and develop a full customer engagement ecosystem across email marketing, customer journeys, SMS, push notifications, automation, personalisation and campaign management.

 

Once the marketing capability is established, you will continue working across the broader Salesforce platform (CRM, integrations and platform development). For that reason, we are looking for a Salesforce Developer with Marketing Cloud experience, rather than a marketing-only specialist.

 

The Role:

 

You will:

  •  Develop solutions across the Salesforce platform using Apex, LWC and APIs
  • Support implementation and scaling of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  •  Design and build integrations between Salesforce CRM and marketing systems
  •  Develop data models, segmentation and automation using SQL and data extensions
  •   Support journey automation, email architecture and campaign functionality
  •    Contribute to solution design and technical architecture
  •  Work across CRM, marketing and wider Salesforce development initiatives
  •   Help shape best practices, governance and scalable platform design

 

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL
  •  Salesforce integrations and API development
  • Strong SQL skills
  •  Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud / SFMC
  • Experience with marketing automation, journeys, campaigns or segmentation
  • Understanding of CRM data structures and platform architecture

 

Highly Desirable:

  •  Experience supporting or delivering a Marketing Cloud implementation
  • Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio or Mobile Studio
  • Exposure to solution or technical architecture
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Marketing Cloud etc.)
  • Experience working across multi-cloud Salesforce environments
